LA REV is a unique Mexican cantina inspired by the history of the Mexican Revolution. A small, but big minded  business, La Rev considers itself more as a space for creativity, making music and art, inspiration (given or taken) and general well-being. The space sustains itself by offering  to its guests an authentic taste of comida casera (Mexican home-made meals). We strive to be honest and fair in pricing, we also do our best to provide food that is found locally and grown organically.

Nestled in the heart of the junction, you'll find La Rev tucked away just three doors east of Keele on Dundas on the north side. We feature a stage in the front window presenting a gorgeous up-right acoustic piano, and a full PA.

Passing the kitchen you will enter a dark mysterious room, which was the original location for La Rev. Many great artists have graced the venue over the last 5 years, just to mention a few: Julian Fauth, Jay Linden, Doc MacLean, Ken Yoshioka, Orit Shimoni, Shannon Lyon, Washboard Hank, Les Petits Nouveaux,

Annabelle Chvostek, Michael Keith, Peter Hill, Cleave Anderson! (Just to mention a few!!!!). We're lucky to still have some of them perform often (check our calendar for listings).

The stage has moved to the front room, but we plan to open a small "black box theatre" in the back room by 2017. You can help support this endeavour by coming by and checking it out...if you like it, consider renting it for your next event! There is a full service bar available as well as the option to rent a PA system for the evening. We throw great parties!!

Anyway, its simple, and its good. Just plain nice really. That's what w'ere all about. And we only serve the freshest food served with absolute care. Honesty is our motto.
